The London Magazine Archive

When I was a kid way, way back in the 1950s, the local children's library had bound copies of a British weekly "boys' own"-style of magazine from 1905. That magazine had story serials that went on for a month or more.

One story covered a future war in 1908 between Britain and Russia that had big metal flying machines that could travel under water.

I often wonder whether copies of that magazine still exist.
