Ask HN: How to Automate iPhone Setup?

I configure a new machine quite often. Because of that, I have a dotfiles repo that uses strap [0]. Wherever I have to set up my Mac from the scratch, I simple clone that repo and run script, and after a few hours all software (specified in Brewfile) is downloaded and configuration applied. Is there any way I can come close to this on iOS? Currently, every time I have a new iPhone (or do a hard reset), it takes me a few hours to download all the apps I use and sign into them, and apply my Settings.

PS I know about iCloud backup, but that’s not exactly what I want.
