I don't usually read the Telegraph, but Macron just doubled down about "Western" boots on the ground, so I am all for any hesitancy to turn this into WWIII by sending "advisors". From my other comment, that is how Vietnam started for the US with 25,000 "advisors" there before the official first combat wave of 25,000 US Marines on 8 March 1965.
