Excited to share a revamped browsing experience for Hacker News enthusiasts! I've redesigned the interface for improved usability and aesthetics, optimized readability, and lightning-fast performance.

Improving the visibility of the settings button is definitely something I'll look into. Making it more noticeable will enhance user experience and streamline customization options. Additionally, I've already incorporated the suggestion of using the user's current system selection for the UI brightness and defaulting to a reasonable date range like the past week or 24 hours. These options are available on the settings page under Default Filters>Date Range and Display Settings>Theme.
Distinct separation for comments and implementing a "striped" background for better readability is a great idea. It'll improve the overall visual appeal and make it easier for users to navigate through discussions.
I'll take all of these suggestions into account for future updates. Thanks again for taking the time to provide your feedback!
