I don't think that's fair here.
Microsoft should not require a Microsoft Account to use Windows. But I as an individual cannot change Microsoft's position. I'm not saying Elon can either, but I suspect his feedback will carry more weight.

There is a hack to use Windows 11 without a Microsoft Account.
If Musk wants to paywall all Twitter content, or heck, rebrand it into a StarWars fan club, who cares? Not I. But I care about my computer.
You did not buy the software, you only get a license, and that comes with it's own terms.
I mean, I suppose even a stopped clock is right twice a day, but if there's anyone who lacks credibility to complain about this...
