Or is it possible to accept people as they are? The point of the convention ~is~ (Edit: should have been) to welcome all and say "These here are the things we believe, and why, and why we think these attitudes might work better for you"
Which NBC reporters shared supposed contrary beliefs in dialog without “any perceptible resistance”?
