Ask HN: Good sequel to "Making Silicon Valley"?
"The High-Res Society" mentions Lecuyer's book "Making Silicon Valley". It's a great read and it is amazing to see how the region bootstrapped itself and how the microprocessor evolved. Nonetheless, it only covers the period from 1930 to 1970 (gets to the release of the Intel 8008, but no further). Is there a good book to continue the history and the rise of personal computing?
