Vice was great when it first started. It was a youth party mag devoted to sex drugs and music.
But then the people who made it fun left and the remaining founders were lame and tried to make it serious.
There's a certain one-liner that that rhymes, which comes to mind but you're not allowed to say here.
There are millions of one-liners that rhyme, you'll have be be more specific if you expect anyone to know what you're thinking of.
The votes say otherwise, and no I don't. Hint: Happened to Disney+ as well as a wave of other companies/products. But I know better than to say it out loud in a place dominated by Californians.
Oh, "go woke go broke". Disney+ is a HUGE hint. That campaign is practically all I remember about the service, since I've never used it. I'm not sure how it applies to Vice though, they've been left-wing fridge and edgy from the get-go. There was no "went woke" moment for them as far as I know. They are broke though, you have that part right. I suppose if you lump all left-wing media into "go woke" then, sure. I don't think this place is hostile to anti-woke phrases though. If you follow this places creator @paulg on twitter or search his mentions of "woke mob" I would have guessed HN was on the other side, or at least accepting of it.
