I dunno if anyone else has been following "Fausterion18" , but for the past 2 years or so he has turned a few hundred k account into tens of millions by my estimate and post history. I think this is the clearest evidence yet of actual skill in the market with a verifiable track record. Interestingly thee media has not picked up this story. I think this at least puts to bed some of the weaker forms of there EMH.

For the sake of argument - he may have another account 'Fausterion17' on which he is constantly loosing those tens of millions :)

I have no idea who he is, or if what he posts is true, but it's quite a well known strategy for 'financial influencers' - you can start with 50 accounts, predicting that the market will go up / down next month (or whatever period). Then on the accounts that predicted it right, you do the same thing etc etc. After some periods, you have an account that was 90% right ! Must be a financial genius.

But this just wins you internet points no? Unless you start marketing your own "get-rich-quick" book or similar crap on your socials as well, no? How else would it pay?

Yes, that's the game usually with those internet trading stars.
