I have not read a lot of Alan Moore, but reading this last bit

> The Moon and Serpent Bumper Book of Magic will transform your lives, your reality, and any spare lead that you happen to have lying around into the purest and most radiant gold.

I wonder how much he's actually attempting to change reality through literature (immanentize the eschaton!) and how much he's just playing with the idea.

I think he has been changing reality through literature since forever!

"I believe that magic is art and that art, whether it be writing, music, sculpture, or any other form is literally magic. Art is, like magic, the science of manipulating symbols, words, or images, to achieve changes in consciousness."

Well, let's just say... I'll believe it when it's actually published. This is this same archive page from 2010: http://web.archive.org/web/20100420105155/https://www.topshe...

And this is the original announcement from 2007!!!: http://web.archive.org/web/20070928025437/http://www.topshel...

That's when I first heard of this, with the cover all done way back then. So yeah, I cannot believe this will finally be hitting shelves. I can pre-order it, so it has to be real... right? It's been so long.

Wow, finally!
