Ask HN: Are we dawning on a new age of exploration?

It occurs to me that with AI models capable of world modelling, reasoning and with the trend of robotics-we might soon be able to send autonomous agents into space with the ability to comprehend and evaluate new insights that weren't possible before due to latency and hostility of such environments.
