Probably a good idea to check the balconies. I've been reading the book "There Are No Accidents" and it mentions a ship tipped over four years after the Titanic because all the people stood on one side of the boat.
For reference, this was the Eastland in 1915. It was also because all the lifeboats were on the same side.
