A lot of the power of San Francisco and New York City comes from the proximity of all kinds of great people spanning the range of functions you’d need for new companies and for keeping their employees happy. I don’t know if something like MLhops already exists in NYC but I feel certain there are capable people with those backgrounds (beer and machine learning) in this city as well.
