Lexical Loops and Word Embeddings
"Dictionaries link a given word to a set of alternative words (the definition) which in turn point to further descendants. Iterating through definitions in this way, one typically finds that definitions loop back upon themselves." I am always fascinated by these in the dictionary. Short examples: understanding <-> comprehension. What is the impact of such loops on the word embeddings? Are the representations for the words having much shorter lexical loops different compared to the ones with longer loops?
