Review: Chris Dixon's Read Write Own

I really enjoyed this review.

I'm a little surprised that some aggressive VC doesn't promote crypto as being the answer to doing unsavory, or maybe even illegal, things. There is some value in being able to buy porn and not having anyone control it, or know about it. There is a debatable value in being able to buy marijuana in the US which still hasn't legalized that at the federal level. ZK transactions offer that obvious benefit.

I guess you don't want to be the first prominent person to advocate for that. And, if you are a VC, you probably have to lobby elderly US senators, and they have to pretend that they hate porn so they can continue to grab votes of other elderly people who want to pretend they never enjoyed porn when they were younger and full of testosterone.

If everyone would just be honest about their porn desires crypto would probably have a place in this world.

I'm only saying this because you can see Google trends to know that people on the Internet love porn. It's right in front of your face everybody!
