Not input lag but scrolling an editor in fullscreen on a large monitor is kind of laggy for me sometimes. I hope these changes will make a difference (not yet in a stable release).
From what I saw while making my changes, that area of the code has a bunch more possible optimisations, but it's 'good enough' for me at this point so I'm not planning to continue pulling at the thread right now.
