Ask HN: Blackbox or Unit testing Java GUI awt components?

I have been looking for a way to blackbox and white box test a Java program. If it’s free that would be great. The only thing I’ve been working with is Java.robot in awt. It doesn’t handle scaling/different resolutions. I can assert pixel color or manually try to grab ui components but that seems to be where I reach the end.

Has anyone used anything recently?
