This is really sad, it's a huge loss for pages that may have been taken down or accidentally deleted. I can probably count a double-digit number of startups or passion project websites that were saved from catastrophic data loss by scraping Google's cached page results, it's a real shame that they've taken this away
Yeah. Cache is really useful. When something shows up as a search result but not on the page, you can look at the cached version to find it.
