As much as I favor limited government, I'm with the EPA on this one. Our land is getting so contaminated with micro plastics and forever chemicals that some kind of regulation is probably warranted. Plastic is basically everywhere at this point and the vast majority can't be realistically recycled (it's all a sham to distract from the massive environmental damage). Starting with banning single use plastics like water bottles might be a good start. I also shouldn't be terrified of PFAS in my water supply and the meat I buy.
Humanity in a couple hundred years will look back and deem us worse than the barbarians that came before us.
