I don't understand why they are paying the royalties for an arm core?

I thought CPU transition was acted. We would still tolerate a HDMI block instead of/with a displayport block and a h26[45] codec block instead of/with a AV1 codec block.

I would favor the milk-v duo with the cv1800 SOC instead (free from arm cores and with a 64bits risc-v mcu).

C906 is pre-1.0 V.

Note that there exist chips like the kendryte k230, with C908, which has the ratified 1.0 V spec.

This makes this chip much less interesting, although still useful where this does not matter.
