The UNRWA sees funding from several nation states currently on hold because it's been established several members of the UNRWA did personally participate in the Oct 7th attack. That is serious.

Freezing funding to a UN agency is not something that's done lightly: it's done for a reason. And the reason is there are people at UNRWA with a deadly political agenda.

Have you seen the school books that children get in Gaza? They're basically comics, for kids, but with gentle palestinians holding AK47 killing evil jews. This was exposed years and years ago.

That's what all these non-governmental organizations are funding in Gaza. Instead of developing Gaza, the money is spent on a war machine, meant to herald death.

If someone decides to donate to UNRWA now that person basically says: "I want my money to be used to build tunnels beneath schools and hospitals so that terrorists who swore to kill all the jews of Israel can hide there. And print more of these cute children books btw!".

People have seen bank accounts frozen for less than that: for example truckers and the people donating to the truckers when they went on strike.

Now I don't think that freezing people's account is justified.

Let people donate if that's how evil their mind is. But point out that they're donating to terrorists, likely because they're anti-semitic, while hiding behind the excuse that it's for "humanitarian" reasons.

I know what people donating to UNRWA now, right after it's been exposed the agency was infiltrated by terrorists, are made of.

Probably worth noting that the linked article claims that "Israel [...] its now-clear slaughter of many, perhaps most, of the Israeli victims on the day of the raid."

Whoever wrote this definitely deserves to be (permanently) de-banked and subject to the full force of the law. And I'd cheer other things besides...
