The failed promise of Domain-Driven Design – part 3

I can't make heads or tails of this.

DDD feels like a truism. Of course parts of the software system should be modelled after the business system.

What am I missing?

Who are the people not doing this and still succeeding?

I'm an "event junkie" btw.
