Figma to Start Charging Developers for View Access to Designs

Where does this article mention Figma will charge for View Access? It seems only scoped to the Dev Mode which was in beta

No they aren't. It's just their Dev Mode feature which really hasn't been all that useful in my experience.

For those who don't pay for Dev Mode, they'll revert to something like the Inspect mode they had previously.

Well we’ll go back to sending screenshots round then, great.

Viewers are always free according to the pricing page. This headline applies only to “Dev Mode (beta)”

Why are you lying? It's not view access. It's only dev mode

As others have said, title is plain wrong. Anybody can view designs for free, with access to measurements, colors, fonts, etc.

what a title... like dev mode is the only way for devs to get designs

Infrastructure isn’t free. View access cost money too so not surprised by it.
