Ask HN: Why Microsoft website pictures look blurry, jagged, low-res?
I've noticed this in the past few months. Have a look at this for instance:

You can try complaining to Microsoft too but I doubt they'd care.

I guess their CDN is doing some heavy crunching of the images to keep page speeds fast.
