>>>...it is possible that this bacteria could play a role in the development of bile-related cancers. Bile acids are known to damage DNA and promote cell proliferation, both of which are hallmarks of cancer. Sutterella wadsworthensis is resistant to bile acids, which suggests that it may be able to survive and even thrive in the presence of these harmful compounds. This could potentially lead to increased DNA damage and cell proliferation, and ultimately, cancer.
It interferes with the bodies ability to properly process fats and such...
So - targeting that bacteria could have widely beneficial outcomes.

If you look at the following:
Sutterella is indicated as being the cause of Celiac/IBS - and as bile is used to break things down into glucoses and such - it seems that basically sutterella blocks bile, and results in the body not absorbing nutrients - and basically making you nutrient defficient where youre not absorbing key nutrients as they pass through your system.
THe bacteria, if related to celiac, basically would appear to be what makes the immune system attack itself in the intestines and limit the ability of villi to deal with gluten...
