I suppose this isn't too surprising. But poor Lego.

I just got their 2024 catalog in the mail and it was filled with space-themed sets. They even have a new "category logo" that makes it seem like they had planned for this to be a long-running thing. Whoops!

Lego should had a few sets featuring the Chinese landing on the moon. Its is looking more and more likely will happen before NASA returns to the Moon.

The whole design of mission looks like Boeing too over the decisions...Not realistic and not feasible, more like insane (At correct time...): https://youtu.be/OoJsPvmFixU?t=1731

FYI: The linked video is Smarter Every Day dunking on NASA, Boeing, ULA, the pork barrel, and all that kind of stuff in-front of a bunch of big names in the space industry for around an hour.

It's a tough watch with some hairy moments, however really well captures the kind of culture and environment that led to the somewhat dire and/or depressing state of space exploration that we are at today.

Even the infrequent successes like Curiosity were billions (with a 'B') over-budget and years delayed.

I find this even more concerning
