Not even Notepad is safe from Microsoft's big AI push in Windows

The ghost of Clippy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Office_Assistant) is coming back to haunt lots of Windows applications, but this time with microtransactions and telemetry.
I really hope there is a way to turn it all off and remap the AI key to do something besides summoning the current application's Copilot (Clippy ghost).
But for the rest.... it's fluff that's not needed for notepad. Now watch it get to much development and ultimately killed/scrapped.
If they really feel they have to add this stuff, then add it to wordpad. Leave notepad alone!
So the only thing odd here is that copilot in notepad is advertised as a notepad feature and not a natural consequence of textfields getting copilot.
Nag screens reminding you to top up your credits when using Notepad for its neo-autocomplete.
