If you are planning on using go Daddy or a similar Service, the most likely offer a preinstalled WordPress solution and then it's just a matter of templates and plug-ins both of which are freely available. Don't sell yourself short either, you connected its friends you need to charge for your time so if they're concerned over $40 maybe you better ask them for a business plan before getting into deep.
