Show HN: Blocks: AI-Powered Custom Function Builder from Structured

Hello HN community,

We've recently launched a new feature at Structured called Blocks, aimed at simplifying custom function creation and management for developers. I wanted to share some insights and get your thoughts.

Key Features:

- Natural Language to Code Translation: Input commands like "Remove HTML tags from this text," and Blocks turns them into functional code, easing the burden of complex coding syntax.

- Sandbox Testing: A robust environment where you can safely test and refine your functions with either sample data or your own datasets, ensuring reliability before deployment.

- Code Customization Before Deployment: After Blocks generates code, you have full control to review and modify it, ensuring that it precisely fits your specific needs.

- Effortless Deployment Process: Deploy your customized functions as REST endpoints directly to the Structured Cloud, simplifying integration with various parts of your application.

Potential Benefits:

- Efficiency in Workflow: Automating endpoint creation and usage can significantly speed up workflow automation.

- Resource Management: Time saved on development tasks can be redirected towards more strategic work.

- Simplified Development Process: By leveraging AI for common logic and control flows, Blocks aim to reduce coding complexity, potentially leading to quicker development cycles.

We believe Blocks could be a valuable tool for developers working on a range of projects, from internal tools to customer-facing features. Its aim is to ease development tasks while offering flexibility and power.

Curious to hear your thoughts or if anyone sees potential use cases in their projects. Also, open to any feedback!
