Is the West talking itself into decline?

Despite what some business/marketing focused individuals might say, just believing something might not overrule physical limitations and its risks. Reality is a harsh mistress and opinion control puts us on a totalitarian path without error correction.

edit: Or differently put, too easy/good to be true is very much a thing in the market economy. Independent of the initial trend being visible or not. Stuff is just not trivial.
