There are more reasons to do pair programming:
It also transfers knowledge of all kind (domain, tools, techniques), saves the time for code review, strengthens relationships and improves team culture
Unfortunately a whole lot of people are totally against that idea so i make do with chatgpt/copilot as my pair programmer these days.
