Microsoft is adding a new key to PC keyboards since 1994

This is going to be really good when Copilot tanks or gets ignored by 99% of the people who can't even use their PC already and it's seen as a cost not a ROI and is killed off.

It'll be filed under Scroll Lock for most people with "keys we don't know what they do"

what's up with win+c or something?

Actually, Windows + C does do the same thing! People have speculated that perhaps that is what the key sends.

Adding another worthless key to go along with the Windows and menu keys? Great.

It feels like the serious people at Microsoft have all transferred into Azure and cloud services while the faddish, short sight horizon people have been left behind to maintain consumer products.

Great! A new unuseful key I will be able to use for AutoHotKey macros!

Yes. For me it looks to be in the perfect spot to be remapped as print screen key.

If this is real (which for some reason I still doubt) this is going to go the way of other keys that make no sense in 2023\b4

Ah, bless them.
