So you can stream movies with sex scenes on your Xbox from MS servers, play games containing sex scenes on Xbox for 16+ years, but using the integrated recording functionality during that time is forbidden. Makes sense.

Forbidden but not disabled either. Sounds like entrapment to me.

Not really entrapment, just read your daily or even hourly updates to the terms of service. I spend much of the day trying to keep up with ToS changes.

Wish there was a way to opt out of the moral cultural region defaulting to protestant prudeness for a comunity.

Especially since ultra violence, torture, human rights violations, etc., are apparently less offensive than a nipple slip.

It’s almost like a team of military desensitization film producers teamed up with some puritans to write the rules.

Direct link to the reddit post this article parrots.

I hear it’s allowed though if you drink a verification can

Mtn Dew Game Fuel: Code Verification only applies to graphic violence, not depictions of nudity or sexually suggestive themes. It’s in the ToS.

Microsoft has since removed the ban

Did it actually remove the ridiculous system that banned the user?

... because implementing Reddit's 18+ feed filter feature would be too difficult or impactful on engagement
