If china were as benevolent as the west I would agree. One can argue about the benevolence of the west for a long time, but there is very little debate about what China wants to do.

People who know what China is doing say that China should not be as autonomous as the West has been in the past.

China wants the rest of the world to be China, too.

It’s a communist dictatorship with a lot of hunger for a lot of things, mostly control of people who are and are not located in China.
