The Baby Boom Was a Marriage Boom

Don't waste your time on this tripe. TL;DNR: The lack of babies is the fault of women not needing to marry. To fix that

- Roll back the welfare and pension state and lower income taxes (so men have more money)

- Roll back the regulatory state (so there there is less work for women)

- End Affirmative Action for women

- Defund education.

- Pronatalist monetary incentives should be targeted at married husbands, rather than mothers.

- Roll back the Sexual Revolution.

The central problem with analyses like these is they treat everything as a zero-sum game. For men to win, women have to lose. To increase fertility, we have to decrease individual freedom.

And--most disturbingly--we need to be globally more ignorant; quote: "The signaling model of education (see Bryan Caplan’s The Case Against Education) implies that education is mostly (~80%) a zero sum game, meaning that reducing it across the board would be a social benefit."

This mindset, where you are suspicious and resentful of any good fortune coming to your neighbor, has been obsolete since the industrial revolution. It's the mindset of a medieval peasant.
