Estimate your GitHub account value

Without any information on how this is calculated, this is pure snake oil. Could be a RNG for all we know. Shame.

Can’t wait for “must have a github account worth 20k+” to start appearing on job specs

So it’s based on contributions metric? Cool, I will automate a way to pr that fix grammar and typos in all github repos readme.md, and I’m a millionaire!!

I can always tell when it's a Next JS site because the enter button doesn't submit what looks like an obvious form. Not really Next's fault, per se, just the users of the framework.

Linus Torvalds (username torvalds) is pegged at over $220k. Interesting, I'd think having the official GitHub mirror of Linux could arguably put his account worth in the millions.

Thanks. This will help sort out all low-networth applicants

10k… I’d take that. It’s 3 letters, which is rare I guess?

400 bucks, apparently...?
