Politicians doing things to get re-elected is generally how democracy works.
My point is it looks desperate, if he cared about this he would have legalized it nation wide. When he's reaching for the low hanging fruit that's no show of strength
How exactly would he have "legalized" it? Maybe he should have encouraged the HHS to reschedule cannabis sometime last year. I wonder if he did that?
