Show HN: A GPT-4V bot that creates captchas for humans
bcad.one
We built a GPT-4V powered Discord bot that creates captchas for humans using mobile game screenshots.
The bot receives a random mobile game screenshot as an input, then is instructed to:
- Create a difficult, but not impossible puzzle based on information in the screenshot such as numbers, word lengths, etc - Solve the puzzle step by step, showing its justification for the solution - Provide the answer, which is then forwarded to the human to solve.
We've found it to be a fun flip on the idea of humans making captcha systems for bots, and it has been a very fun exploration of GPT-4's vision and reasoning capabilities.
The bot is available to interact with in our Discord (invite on the link), and you can see some sample captchas it created on the linked website.
