Is Masimo a Patent troll or legit?

Legit - they’re a biomedical device company with many products. Apple met with them prior to copying their tech.

Ah. So Apple just stole the technology.

Apple can still make watches. Just not with blood-oxygen sensors.

...and hired away the CTO of a Masimo sister company (whose name was referenced in several Apple patents) as well as Masimo's Chief Medical Officer.

Note that only Apple is required to stop selling them; Amazon, Best Buy, others with Apple watches in stock can still sell from existing inventory even after the deadline.

And the SE is still available!
