Confusing name considering ChimeraOS which is also Linux based.

Yeah, Chimera OS should have been more careful before choosing their name.

I guess the Chimera OS maintainer was polite about it, and Chimera Linux was pretty under the radar for a while.

The confusion is indeed unfortunate.
