Weird. No RSS feed though so into the bin it goes.

Can't even see the website, just a big "YEWS IS DESIGNED FOR MOBILE"

Same. I'm on mobile. Maybe iphone only or it's down already?

Checked on iPhone, it shows the following:

Enter a phone number or email

Or just tap submit

[text input]

Submit

I got that and clicked submit, and it was just the date on an otherwise empty page.

I wasn't expecting much, yet I'm still underwhelmed.

It's due to a broken dark mode I think. Try changing to light mode and try again. I saw a list of times next to the date which are clickable.

Click the times, each one links to a list of stories. Presumably the idea is the home page is going to be a list of dates and times.

It's based on the window width. It needs to be 479px wide or smaller.

Just make the viewport narrower than 480px.

Very editorial tone in "DeSantis Surrogate Embarrassed on TV"

> Dave Rubin, a washed-up podcaster who purchased both his children earlier this year, appeared on Bill Maher's show, where he was grilled for his support for DeSantis as president.

Did Ye code this himself? It's...something

A race to see whether he or Elon can post the most antisemitic thing online for 2023. Elon has the early lead, but what he lacks in timeliness, Ye more than makes up for in paranoia.

so. how is yews pronounced

I think it depends on who’s nearby.

Yews as in Eew

Ask Pittsburgh Dad[1]. It's "yinz" in the second person, I think.

I love the UI, It is simple and clean; it reminds me more of Hacker News

It's refreshing and I like the use of public domain artwork.

Are the articles sourced from different news outlets? On a first glance they are from Bloomberg, AP, etc.

Is it basically a glorified reader mode?

yes, it seems like

Reminds me of Drudge Report a little

Two of the stories I've looked at so far ("Elon Plans New University in Austin" and "Google, Apple Lose Grip on App Stores" under 12 13 23 3PM) are blatantly plagiarised from the linked sources. And for the first the "source" link is an archive.is copy to bypass Bloomberg's paywall. If there's many more like that, I expect this site to not last long.

Always nice to see a bit of William Blake though.

Guess it’s time I start calling myself a high end designer / full stack dev

Really interested in what their content moderation strategy looks like

Let me take a guess...none?

Ye has some mad coding skillz!

YEWS IS DESIGNED FOR MOBILE

nice webflow

Just when I thought life couldn't get any better, it does. /s
