[AI observer]: "Well look at this person of interest trying to fool the system, lets drop their credit score 50 points"
Of course they won't. Classic techno-libertarian fantasy.
Ones who want to stay hidden, will. Most of plebs won't.
A small group of people making noise to try and obfuscate themselves will just draw attention, won't they?
True, unless they use noise which is already present online to carry information, for example by applying steganography to spam.
If only the people who want to stay hidden use noisetech, they stick out like a flame in a dark room and will immediately attract personalized surveillance (and maybe even retaliation merely for using it). It doesn't work unless everybody is on board.
Starting with the "classic" techno-libertarian slaves who each claimed "I am spartacus"
This is the same fallacious trope as "click on irrelevant ads to confuse marketers". People are not good at deceiving algorithms at scale.
That actually works. Sure one click is not enough, but purposefully browsing women's products on Amazon for few hours confused something and since then I am getting ads for women's products only.
What problem have you actually solved by doing that, because you're still receiving ads and being manipulated through your continued use of those platforms.
None. I was drunk and this is the result. Now I am a woman for advertisers.
