I suspect that's because copilot adoption is low - to no surprise since it errors often and steals people's code.

The issue is not if the software is bad or good.

You likely aren’t even referring to the right product. Microsoft 365 Copilot is not GitHub Copilot, but good on you for getting your snark in.

The GP is correct though. It steals your code.

I don't know. I don't use it. I'm not even using GitHub for my primary software development.

You need a GitHub account but you don’t need to use GitHub otherwise (e.g. for source control) in order to use Copilot.
