The Cybertruck Fiasco

I am not sure how far the original Tesla design was in when Musk acquired the company, but my impression is that Cybertruck is HIS baby, and it shows.

First of all, it looks like it was drawn by a 10-year-old. It just looks ugly. I won't rule out that Musk himself decided to "create".

Let's see: https://www.independent.co.uk/tech/tesla-cybertruck-elon-mus...

“A majority of people in this studio hated it,” said chief designer Franz von Holzhausen. “They were like, ‘You can’t be serious.’ They didn’t want to have anything to do with it. It was just too weird.”

After seeing a full-size mock-up of the futuristic pick-up truck, some designers began secretly designing an alternative version.

A spokesperson for Tesla did not respond to a request for comment."

Oh yeah...

And, as we can see with other ventures, if Elon shows active interest in something and starts micromanaging a project - it's as good as a death sentence. His influence should not spread beyond generating crazy ideas and then abusing people until they do the impossible.
