Are these American-made? Looks like they are just rebranded Hubsan drones from China: https://www.hubsan.com/na/

The original website even says they are made in Hong Kong: https://exodrones.com/pages/our-practices

> USA Innovated and operated

Makes it sound like they’re trying to avoid admitting that, like other drones, these are foreign-made.

Parrot offers a drone that's engineered in France & Switzerland, and (to some degree) made in the USA. https://www.parrot.com/us/drones/anafi-usa

Anyone have experience with these, or with other drones of unusual provenance?

this drone is not American-made. https://x.com/chr1sa/status/1729336471348543967?s=20

It is against the guidelines to edit titles - it should be "Blackhawk 3 Pro".

I guess the site is made in US of A, hopefully.

Yep... Joe's code...

Oh boy... Not even "US designed". It's "US innovated".

Is the Sikorsky helicopter-style naming a trademark violation?

Lockheed Martin adds a ® to the name on https://www.lockheedmartin.com/en-us/products/sikorsky-black..., so somebody seems to have some claim on that name, so maybe, yes.

By the way: it’s not Sikorsky-style, it’s US military style.

https://www.defense.gov/News/Inside-DOD/Blog/article/2052989...

“The tradition of naming helicopters after Native Americans was once an official regulation. That regulation no longer stands, but the tradition continue.”

https://www.lockheedmartin.com/en-us/products.html?domain=&c... also shows Sikorsky doesn’t use this theme for civilian helicopters.

Killer drones, do we really need this?
