Child's Online Mistake Can Ruin Your Digital Life

Why does the title say ruin 'Digital Life' - I mean being blocked from using your youtube could ruin some people's non-digital life - and it does mention:

"lost access to her photos, documents and email, she said, meaning she couldn’t get messages about her work schedule, review her bank statements or “order a thickshake” via her McDonald’s app"

This is ruining non-digital life.

I guess if G was broken up so that YT and Gmail and Search were separate the impact could of been lessened.. but the G solution is to create google accounts for your 7 year olds and her solution is ban their use of internet.

The article’s title is totally wrong. It was Google’s mistake not the child’s.
