Good job Tim. I hope Epic succeedes with their anti-trust cases. Smaller companies that can't afford this type of legal battle will enjoy the benefits if they win.
Epic is no better than Google in many regards.
I agree, but at least they are fighting the monopoly.
You do realize Epic is backed by one of the largest monopolistic companies on the planet right? Tencent is unmatched in many industries for their level of stranglehold and on top of that they hold controlling interests in countless other US companies to exert their influence across a spectrum of organizations.
Most people don't realize this; sometimes I believe that Epic is just being used as a proxy to disrupt the US tech industry. But, that depends on the day and whether or not I'm wearing my tinfoil hat.
Tencent does not have a controlling interest in Epic.
As if Tecent was any better.
All of these companies only complain and find competition unfair when they are the underdog.
