As someone working in cyber I’m actually thankful the buzzword seems to be passing over us to AI. Good riddance.

(save for the increasingly common “what about AI cybersecurity?!?” meme presentation or paper)

Just the other day I saw a local company get investment to be cybersecurity for LLMs. It's here already.

I hate the term cyber over infosec but anyway I’ve spoken to two CISO’s just this month who told me their primary directive is integrating LLM’s into event analysis and triage. So it’s definitely happening.

Yeah it's happening. Microsoft is integrating it into their SIEM / Defender (and, well, absolutely everything else)

Cybersecs is a thing, yup.
