Ask HN: AI Intercom Alternative

Someone should use the OpenAI assistant's RAG functionality to create a simple competitor to Intercom's Finvisor.

We are now on our forth live chat widget, they are all embarrassingly bad, hallucinate with their AI, and are almost amusingly expensive.

Most of the functionality to justify a pricepoint like Intercom simply isn't needed with OpenAI's RAG agent, if you add AutoGen to the mix, it can do advanced troubleshooting with customers and integrate with third-party apps to do things like support tickets, refunds, ect.

Your pricing model? A simple tiered usage markup on your API fees. Pay as you go and then you hit a cap and managed pricing for larger customers.

Please someone build this. I'll be your first customer. There are open source Chat Widgets on GitHub for you to build upon, but to be frank, you probably don't even need 90% of it.
