I'm curious whether there are any theories as to whether this planet is largely in its final form or if it may be extremely early or late in its life cycle, possibly giving us more clues as to the formation of Earth or its eventual death long after us humans are gone.
The age appears to be as-yet undetermined. (reference: https://exoplanet.eu/catalog/wasp_107_b--6505/ ) I will note from the Wikipedia entry that it's not possible for its orbit to be from regular formation but it must have formed further out and been slung into the inner system. The orbit is retrograde and highly misaligned with the equitorial plane.
I am reminded of Outer Wilds (no spoilers, just an awesome experience/game).
I'm guessing this is where Darth Vader chose to build his castle
